Stickie Nailz is a freelance travel nail service, based out of Houston, Texas. We specialize in free hand character painting & 3-D sculptured nail art, offering 3 different types of nail enhancements that best suit your lifestyle. We prioritize the art while making sure your nails are healthy, durable, and long lasting. Key thing to mention: nail art takes time. Detailed nail art is my game! I prefer to take my time, and have allotted extra on each appointment for any misjudgments. It may not take the entire time listed, however I have planned for the worst case scenario. | The Artist | Lina is the name but online you might know me as Stickie, the artist behind the chaos at Stickie Nailz! I like to describe my art as chaotic, because my art is not your average nail art. As an artist since 2019, I hold a Manicurist license here in Texas, and several certifications including Barbicide Safety and from quality nail brand workshops. Prioritizing my speciality, I am well versed in various design styles, such as your classic french tip and ombre, cateye, and more. You can see some of my work under the tab labeled “Portfolio”. I ask that you read the following in full, and understand that my prices are fixed (not including certain designs) unless we have discussed otherwise before you book your appointment. Alteration of prices that we have properly communicated on will be honored, however incorrectly booked prices will be adjusted accordingly and without warning. Photos and detailed descriptions are provided below and for each service to assist in proper booking. Please verify everything before sending deposit AND per the confirmation text or email. For the safety, comfort, and respect of all clients, I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who displays inappropriate behavior, shows disrespect toward myself or my craft, evidence of any symptoms of illness, or does not comply with the listed policies. I also reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service at my discretion if I feel it is not in alignment with my values, professional standards, or the client relationship. In such cases, the client will not be able to book future appointments with me, including at either permanent locations. Thank you for choosing me, and I hope to see you soon 🫶🏾 . . . POLICY | Referral Client | Services on this website are listed in two separate categories: Referral Client (New Client) & Returning Client (Priority Client). New clients are interchangeably considered “referrals” to protect my safety as a freelance artist. Returning clients are interchangeably considered “priority” and are those that have met with me for 2 or more separate appointments. If you (returning client) feel that you cannot 100% vouch in any matter for the person you’d like to refer, please advise them to book with Lina at Dermacare & Nails in Hedwig Village, Texas, right off of I-10. I will hold the listed refusal policy in conjunction with the shops policy. All new clients for appointments booked on this site have to be vetted by you, the returning client, to then be approved by Lina as slots for travel appointments are reserved for priority clients. | Deposit + Travel Fee | All appointments must be approved and require a deposit of up to $50 within 24 hours of booking. It does not go toward your total service cost. This deposit is considered your travel fee, but can be subject to waivers when available. A “waived deposit” just means that the deposit will go towards your total service cost. You may lose your deposit should there be any cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment. If I cancel for any reason, I will refund the deposit in full, or we can reschedule for a later date. Travel services outside of the Houston/Greater Houston area will be subject to a separate travel fee, dependent on location and possible necessary travel arrangements. Please reach out to Lina via email or text for more details. | Soak-Offs | To better accommodate your service and service times, please be advised that a foreign soak-off is an additional service + cost of $25 for all appointments. As Lina is unaware of what products (regardless of enhancement type) were used on your previous set, leading to issues with retention or unforeseen damages from a previous technician. Unless previously discussed directly with the artist otherwise, please book accordingly. | Gel-x | Soft gel full coverage nail tips that are durable and come pre-shaped and at desired length. The tips can be modified very minimally, and I (Lina) will do my best to customize them to your best interest. Serving as a positive substitute for acrylic, gel-x will aid the growth of your natural nail by protecting the nail plate while giving you the length you are looking for. At 3 weeks of growth, you are able to get a refill on your gel-x. Builder is used to restructure the nail so that they will last an additional 3-4 weeks. | Builder gel + Hard Gel | Both services are listed under the same category. Please be mindful of which gel base + design option you are picking! BUILDER GEL: A thick gel-like consistency applied from a pot or from a bottle, builder gel is the next best thing to gel polish from its feel on the nail to its natural appearance. Builder gel allows the artist to do just that — build the structure (apex + foundation) of the nail to reinforce its integrity as it grows out. Best for natural nail overlays (short to short medium length) and some nail biters. Also known as “structure gel” “BIAB”. HARD GEL: A thick gel-like consistency, hard gel can be used as an enhancement and for designs. Preferred service for those who are rough with their hands/on the nails and those who keep their natural nails at longer lengths (medium and longer), hard gel is another durable solution for severe nail biters. Similar to builder gel, hard gel allows me to strengthen the natural nail but also gives me the ability to extend the length as well. | Hand Models | This service category is only for those that I have discussed a partnership or collab with. Do not book if no prior consultation was had and if you are a new or returning client; the appointment will be denied/canceled without warning. . . .
